Lynchburg, Va- Staff at Liberty University have been urged to avoid contact with the University’s former President Jerry Falwell Jr.

According to the Virginian Pilot, earlier this week, general councilman David Corry wrote to employees in an email urging them not to speek to Falwell citing a couple instances of “uncomfortable” contact with University employees.

In the email, Corry made clear his intentions included keeping the school on good terms with donors that did not want Falwell involved with university operations in any way.

“This impression is not well received by our supporters who do not want Mr. Falwell to be running Liberty University behind the scenes,” Corry wrote.

Falwell resigned shortly before the start of school for the university after being placed on indefinite leave because of an instagram photo where Falwell can be seen standing next to a pregnant woman while both of their pants were unzipped. Falwell could also be seen holding an unidentified beverage in the photo.

Shortly after the instagram frenzy, it was Falwells former pool attendant who came out about an alleged affair with Falwells in which he resigned shortly therafter.
